I offer my deepest apologies for failing to set out the course yesterday for the 5 mile run from the Red Lion, Lamarsh.

It was entirely my fault.........I simply forgot.

I had a meeting over-run by a couple of hours, which messed up my afternoon's work. After a manic 2 or 3 hours trying to put things right I just hopped on my bike and went for a ride for a couple of hours. I should have been setting out the course instead. It wasn't until Lorraine came home at 11.30pm and asked how the race had gone that I realised my cock-up.

I know how annoying this is for everyone who turned up expecting to run, and I am deeply sorry.
